Simon Says Stamp Encouraging Words: Distress Oxide Emboss Resist

Hello Crafters!

Welcome to the Simon says Stamp Encouraging Words Blog Hop (Part Two)
You should have arrived her from the blog of my dear friend and spirit animal Shari Carroll. I know she's amazing, you're probably still reeling from  her project.
It's cool take a minute.

If you haven't had your socks knocked off by Shari then you probably haven't been hopping along. Feel free to head over to the start at the Simon Says Stamp Blog.
Make sure you leave love as you go!
Simon is generously giving away a $25 gift card to one lucky commentor from every stop on the hop.

I really loved all the sentiments in the Thank you Teacher but this one is my favorite. I knew I really wanted to create a card that would make that beautiful sentiment the focal point. The best way to do that you ask?

Bold black and a rainbow.
Easy peasy.

You can watch the whole card from start to finish in the video below

That background was so simple and fun to make! I can totally see making multiples. No two would look the same :)

The way it pools in the crevices of the embossing is awesome. It creates so many tones of the same colors. I'm definitely doing this again!

You're next stop is the incredible Lin Brandyberry. I was lucky enough to meet Lin at a local crop a few years ago. She really is lovely.

If you get lost here's the whole hop

Need even more inspiration?
No Problem.
Simon had Part One of the Blog Hop yesterday which was amazing and I created another video using products from this release here

Thanks for visiting!
