We made it!
This week was especially difficult for me because my little peanut started pre-school.
Wahhhh!
He was totally fine. I cried the whole ride home.
And not like movie cry with one sweet tear drop rolling down my cheek as I wistfully watch my child grow.
Full on ugly cry.
Honestly, i feel bad for the people who got stuck next to me at stop lights.

I used a few of the new products to create these two cards.
They have the same technique and basic layout but the color palette really changes it up. For the first card I went with very traditional fall colors using a soft brown for my stamping and much warmer colors.
For the second card I went way cooler and added some extra shading. After I stamped the first card they looked like crystals gathered at the bottom of the card to me so I thought it would be fun to play that up.
The watercoloring is super easy.
So easy in fact a toddler can do it.

Even though it looks like I'm taking advantage of my child's natural talent I promise you it wasn't slave labor.
He's always trying to get his tiny paws in my videos lol.
He really is a good helper and it's something we can do together.
So you know which ones my favorite (ahem, black outline) but which one is yours?

ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards Kelly! And welcome to the club, that first day is always so hard! My son rushed into the classroom on his first day while I was busy signing him in. I stuttered and said "I didn't even get a picture!" The sweet classroom aide patted me on the back and told me that it was fine for me to go into the classroom and get a picture. Hugs!
