Hahaha.
Okay now onto the card . . .
This stamp set is actually from last year but I was so bummed I didn't get to use it that I put it right in the forefront of this Christmas season.
It's like an entire scene but I didn't have to make.
Just stamp and color you say?!
Don't mind if I do!
I don't mean to sound like I don't love creating my own scenes. I certainly do! But sometimes it sure is nice to have the option to just stamp once and head straight for the Copic markers.
I did do a bit of layering by masking my scene and using my distress inks for the sky. I used the Bokeh Stencil from Tonic to make it slightly more interesting. Of course, I had to add those perfect pearls. I'm hooked, for real yo.
You can watch the entire card come to life in the video below
Since I was running around doing all the things adults are responsible for having the one stamp create my entire card front was especially appreciated.
Thanks so much for dropping in!

Great card. I love how you colored this snow scene. I have. A small laundry room too, but I’ve hung a wire rack so I can hang things I hate laying things out to dry. No room for that. I resort to putting them in the bathroom. Have fun with your peanut.
ReplyDeleteSuper cute card, Kelly! I love the purplish snow - I wouldn't have thought of that myself. I tend to reach for icy blues to shade in snow. I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels that I should apologize for auto-complete mistakes - it's so annoying!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute card! I always learn something watching you color. Nice to know someone else has lots of laundry “specifications” too! HA. I built a new house a few years ago and thought I covered all the things we needed. Laundry room still not big enough!
