Hello Crafters!
Happy Sunday!
I'm actually coming off a four day weekend so I don't know how happy it is yet but I'm consoling myself with crafts.
Welcome to the Suzy's Paintables Holiday Watercolor Blog Hop!
You know I'm a big fan of these Paintables for when I just want to color and not worry about any kind of card layout. Suzy's already done all the hard work here!
You should have arrived from my amazing friend Kathy Racoosin's Blog if you're just stopping in make sure you head over to start at the Simon Says Stamp Blog
There are so many amazing images in these paintables and it came down to the sweet car and city scene or the poinsettias. I feel like every card I've made in the past week has been a scene so the poinsettias won by a smidgen :)
I masked my flowers so I could create a colorful background. I then stamped the Sweater Background for some added interest. I opted for a tone on tone look but you certainly don't have to!
I love the detail in this background stamp. I think it would look amazing in a graphic print maybe just bold red on white. Or an emboss resist. So many possibilities. I love how customizable these paintables are.
You can watch the card from start to finish in the video below
Even though I had to be a bit adaptable I still love the way the card came out!
Whether you're in the mood for just coloring or you really want to make the card your own these paintables are gorgeous. You can check out all of Suzy's Paintables here. The price point will make your wallet happy too :)
Your next stop on the hop is another one of my endlessly talented friends Yana Smalkula!
Here's the whole list in case you missed a stop along the way
Thanks so much for stopping by!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful coloring on this card Kelly! Love the pedals on those flowers! Some artists actually start off with a color that you don't know is there in the end. The creamy shades may be why your final color looks so creamy! All your hard work masking really paid off in the end. I need to try that! Thanks for another great video!
