Well besides the fact that it's Friday there's also a new Simon Says Stamp Release!
Whoo Hoo!

I've used few new products to create two cards that look different but use the same exact supplies!
I love versatile products, don't you?!
For the friend card I laid down the stencil and then started blending distress oxides from bottom to top creating a super vibrant impression of the stencil
For the happy birthday card I masked out the circle in the center before laying down a layer of ink in rainbow colors. I then put the stencil on and added more distress ink on top to get a more subtle pattern
I stamped the large sentiments onto my backgrounds. I love the stained glass font but I decided to fill them in to make it a bit bolder. With those beautiful backgrounds the sentiment was having some trouble standing out.
For the second part of the sentiment I heat embossed on black paper, trimmed them out and popped them up.

I think it would be a shame if you limited the creativity you share to one style. Why not label the videos as 'clean and simple' when it fits and let the viewer decide if those are all they want to watch. I like 'clean and simple' but I like 'messy and complex' as well
ReplyDeleteThose are gorgeous! I really need to take some time and add the Tombow Mono Multi to the backs of most of my stencils, it would make it so much easier to work with them.

ReplyDeleteLove the rainbow effect on these, glad you didn't go with sequins as I think they might have distracted from the rainbow blend, prefer the black. Going to try & purchase those stamps soon if any left. As for you video's, I doubt this is going to help but what I like about your video's bus choice, you do a mixture & I choose what I want to view, like I said no help, have a great Christmas x
