Hello Crafters!
I'm so glad this week is over.
It's been hurdle after hurdle and honestly I don't want to adult anymore.
I'm just going to sit in my jams, drink coffee , and make pretty things kay?
Good, now that we're all in agreement let's talk about this card.
I'm over on the Honey Bee Stamps Blog sharing this cutie!
I'm over on the Honey Bee Stamps Blog sharing this cutie!
These Snow Birds from Honey Bee Stamps are so stinkin' cute. On first look it appears to be a Holiday set but once I took a second look I realized there are a lot of stamps I could stretch into really charming everyday cards. You know I'm about getting my money's worth :)
I love how bright and fun this bird came out! For this card I really concentrated on bumping up the texture. I added some to my bird with my Copic markers but the really cool part is using acrylic paint I was able to add texture to the snow you can actually feel!
You can see the whole card from start to finish in the video below
Using the acrylic paint to tap on the "snow" around his sled helps to pull the scene together.
Since my cards are so clean and simple those little details can really bring them up to the next level without adding any bulk. Just like I like it!
Thank you guys so much for joining me!
I hope to see you this weekend :)

Snow blowers have been a God send to people who live in a snow-prone area. The invention of this truly miraculous piece of machinery, the snowblower, was an event that will surely go down in history as a Hallmark event.
