I hope your week is starting off amazing however, it is Monday so I have a video just in case :)
I did a washy watercolor background with my Distress Oxides and then did some additional ink blending over top with the stencil. A few platters of color and of course Perfect Pearls and then I moved on to the coloring.
This little girl and her cuddly friend are so sweet. I thought the pop of green would go perfectly with her bright purple outfit.
I combined fussy cutting with die cutting in this card. I'm giving a few tips on how I go about fussy cutting. I'm also talking a bit about my fears when Facebook Stalking people.

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh,I know about your Facebook issue! I was looking at a friend's, uncle's (??) birthday party and accidentally somehow sent a friend request to the uncle, which I didn't even know I did until he accepted! Oh boy, I am pretty sure he doesn't know who I am......
ReplyDeleteYes I totally understand about FB.. I have done the same and then corrected it.. but wondered.. Thanks for the tips on cutting. I just found out I have been holding my scissors the wrong way after 60 + years. I think back in the 50's and being left handed I was taught this way and then my husband looked at my finger dent from a bunch of cutting and asked what it was. I showed him he said I am holding my scissors wrong.. WHAT???!!! I use the index finger in the top part of the scissors and I am suppose to use the middle finger.. plus I cut right handed even though left handed but again that is school issues from the 50s.. Thanks for the tips. and beautiful fun creative card. I do love Nichole blog.. She is so creative. I love your and your awesome cards.
