Making your own Pattern Paper with Neat & Tangled: March 2018 Release

 Hello Crafters! 

It's Thursday!
I made it! It's my Friday.
Two days off starting at 2pm today.
Start the parade, release the balloons.
You may feel like it's a bit much but I assure you a celebration for serving this week is quite necessary haha.

Speaking of celebrating things...
Let's talk about the amazing new release from Neat & Tangled shall we?

There's so many amazing items as part of this release including flowers. You know that means I'm heading straight for the florals right? 

Good, glad we're on the same page. 

Now, usually I'd go in create a flower arrangement, color it with copics, splash on some perfect pearls and call it done. Honestly, I'm still probably going to do that at some point. I mean, how can I resist?

I did want to try something different. So instead of creating one focal point I opted to create my own floral background that gives the look of pretty patterned paper. 

I really branched out and went with loose watercoloring.

Even though this isn't my usual approach I really do like the way the card came out. It's quite a bit softer than the norm but still pretty. 

Admittedly, though, I can't wait to Copic color these beauties :)
