Happy Saturday!
I'm just getting off of a 6 day stretch and a 8pm-4am shift.
Sleepy girl.
However, I get to see my family tomorrow so the whole weekend isn't a bust.
We still all get together for each other's birthdays. Which is sometimes a pain with scheduling (especially my schedule) but totally worth it.
I'm over on the Honey Bee Stamps Blog today sharing this colorful card.
It wasn't exactly as I pictured it thanks to my color choice for the background. I did my usual Perfect Pearl splattering over the background and basically created a solar coffee shop lol.
Seriously, it's very intergalactic planetary.
However, I totally love the stamps. If you've been around my blog for long then you know I'm mildly obsessed with coffee cup sets (and coffee in my real life, high octane please and thank you).
They are such versatile images to color which I just adore.

I don't know that adding the other colors really did anything to make it less galaxy like but it was something learned. So, I'm still calling it a win :)

Get some sleep and enjoy your peanut this weekend. Question.. Do you like the Eclipse tape better than the post it tape or the other way around? I tried the post it tonight and it lefted a white hallo around my already stamped image. (I was doing layered flowers). So I was not coloring I was using ink pads to stamp my images. I wanted a smaller flower next to my bigger flower but part of one of the flowers overlapped so I needed to mask it off. I hope that makes sense. If it does I would love your thoughts. Thanks Kelly

ReplyDeleteEnjoyed your video and the fact that you didn't like what you had created. Boy, how many times have I done that! I do have a question. Since this is a one-layer card, how to you keep the copics from bleeding through to the other side?
ReplyDeleteLoved your video really made me smile, loving the card but then I loved the eighties ! You've also sold me on the stamp set, I thought they'd be small so now I know they are just what I want I'm off to order x But first coffee.
