Repeated Image Background Using Distress Oxides with Honey Bee Stamps

Hello Crafters! 

I have no idea what's going on in March but I feel like Wednesday, Thursday, Friday have been busy blog days haha. 

Yes, that means I'll be back tomorrow. 

But let's talk about today...

Because rainbows!

I'm sharing a new video for Honey Bee Stamps  today and I needed rainbows in my life. 

It's like I live in Seattle here lately. 

Ohio weather...

It's been snowy and cold and then rainy and cold. 

I think the sun has forgotten Cleveland exists. 

Thankfully, I have a craft room where I can make my own rainbows!  

Except I didn't really make this rainbow. 

My son did. 

Which honestly makes it much sweeter :) 

He used Distress Oxides to paint each feather before he let Mommy "have a turn" 

Once the water color was dry I went back in with my colored pencils to help my the feathers pop a bit more. I also added a bit of shimmer with a silver pen.

He had such a fun time painting and I had such a fun time spending time with him. 

I know I'm partial but man his little hands are so sweet. 

All in all I think we did a pretty good job showing how you can change it up to something you love no matter where you start :)
