Spring Card Set with Derwent Inktense Pencils

Hello Crafters!

I was driving my son over to my parent's house yesterday and do you know what I saw?
Buds!
Buds on the trees!
Spring!

Cue the confetti!

I 'm so over winter. While I patiently wait for those buds to open I thought I would celebrate a little Spring in my craft room.
 

Ever since that Reverse Polka Background arrived I've been itching to use it. Who doesn't love polka dots?! I thought it would be perfect for a Spring card set. 

I stamped all of the backgrounds using my MISTI and was so pleased with the coverage I got. I didn't even have to stamp multiple times! Once I was done with the backgrounds I stamped all four images from the Spring Seeds stamp set onto some watercolor paper. 

I used Inktense watercolor pencils to color in my images this time around. Several of you have asked me to use this since you already own them. It's been a while since I've used them but I was able to get results I was happy with using minimal effort. I'm all about the minimal effort. 

I did have to mix some of the colors to get them to match the background colors I had already selected.

I think all four cards came out super cute. I think I'd like to try using these again in the future but maybe using more intense color. 

We'll see what I can come up with :)
