Can we just talk about color?!
There are so many awesome images to color with this kit and the "Fiesta" theme just begs for super bright colors.
Yes, my heart just went pitter patter.

This kit is filled with so many fun images to color! AND since Fiestas are such an amazing show of color I needed to use some brights!
I stamped several of the flowers and flourishes included in the kit in various colors of Hero Arts ink to fill up my background. Once they were all stamped I went back in with colored pencils to add a bit of depth.
I kept the rest of it really simple so the bright coloring was the star of the show! I simply heat embossed the sentiment in white on black cardstock then attached them with foam tape.
I think it's a more subtle take on the Fiesta theme even though the colors are so vivid!
You could easily stamp this same card in pastels, or white heat embossing and have a completely different look :)

ReplyDeleteSomeone else said it above but I too like seeing all the different things that people do with the same stamps. I like all your colorful flowers all over the background. This is nice to see since I don't do well with small stamps so this gives me ideas.
