Just for you: Die Cuts, Copics, and Watercolor Combined

Hello Crafters!

Happy Sunday! 

I hope you guys had an amazing weekend!

I worked all weekend but at least it wasn't snowing.

It was still like 38 degrees though. 

Until Spring officially shows up I'll just keep making it bloom in my craft room. 

Here's a sweet Spring scene I shared over on the WPlus9 blog last week. 

I wanted to color up these darling girls but I was feeling too lazy to mask. 

Enter watercolor and die cuts to save the day! Weird, I know. They aren't my usual super heroes. 

I used Distress Oxides to watercolor the background and the floral border die cuts. Then set to work copic coloring these little girls, who are just adorable. I couldn't wait to put them in a scene. I think of them as sisters probably because I have two myself. 

Once the copic coloring was done I used foam tape to pop up my two borders so the girls look like they are in a field of flowers.

I think it came out super cute. What about you? 

I love how no matter what kind of card you normally make changing just one thing can make it look totally different. For me it's those cut floral borders :)
