What Would Kelly Make: Stamp Highlighting

 Hello Crafters! 

I just wanted to pop in super quick and share the latest installment of What Would Kelly Make?

For this latest installment we looked at stamp highlighting and how to really make your focal point POP! 

I started by using my t-square ruler to create a rectangle. You can do any shape you like as long as you keep the positive and the negative of the piece. Being able to mask both sides it what allows you to create the gray image on the outside border. 

 I then used my MISTI to stamp the outside edge in Fossil ink so that it would be grayed out while the rest of the image is in color. In order to do this I masked the inside of my rectangle. 

Once that was done I masked the outside edge and stamped the inside of my rectangle in copic safe intense black ink. With the stamping complete I started in on the Copic coloring.

I think this technique is one that you can really switch up to make it your own and I love that. I went a bit more complex but you certainly don't have to. You could simply stamp it all in one color ink and only part of it and it would still sing :)
