Teacher Thank You Cards: Simple Copic Coloring

I hope you're having an amazing weekend!

Our weather here is supposed to be sun shining for the rest of the week and I'm super excited to have a few days off. 

I mean off from real job not off from the other two. 

Because why would I want an entire weekend off of everything right?

haha. 

I was doing a quick swoop through Youtube and I realized I never actually posted these cards here. I originally shared it on the Neat & Tangled Blog and apparently I never got around to sharing it here. 

My Bad. 

My peanut butter graduated from preschool to kindergarten last week and I wanted to send his teachers a little thank you. He has two teachers in his classroom and I wanted there cards to be similar. 

I was able to create two cards pretty quickly combining a few different sets and some quick copic coloring.  

Also any excuse to practice different skin tones is a good one :) 

I did really simple two color blends for these guys since I had so many elements going on.  

Once I was done coloring I used their coordinating dies to cut them out and then popped them up over a super simple ink blending border.

It's totally okay to adjust your coloring based on your project. For this once super detailed coloring just wasn't necessary. Not only does that mean I'm moving faster but it keeps the color palette to a minimum.
