Using Up Your Watercolor Paper Scraps

Happy Sunday! 

I had shared this super summery card set over on the Simon Says Stamp Blog a few weeks ago and wanted to make sure to share here too. 

I don't know about you but because of the size of my watercolor paper pad I ALWAYS have random scraps laying around. I decided to put them to good use and make some backgrounds. I paired it with the Under The Sea Animals set because there are so many charming critters in there I would be bale to make a set. 

I went through a couple of different techniques of watercoloring with my Distress Oxides before I die cut them out. 

Even the littlest scraps can be turned into a great background to ground one of these little critters. Or if you want to use really small scraps you can build a kind of collage like I did with the crab card.

Pop some popcorn ladies and gents it's a long one. 

It was pointed out to me after the fact that the "whale' is actually a seal. haha! I like being able to use it for both. Sretch those stamps right?! 

I hope I gave you some ideas to use up those scraps we all have laying around. Or maybe just a few ideas for some new layouts? Hey, as long as you're inspired to create I'm a happy girl :)
