Hello Crafters!
Sooo I've been a bit MIA lately.
My apologies it was just a rollercoaster of a week and I needed a break.
We are back in the saddle again and hopefully going forward we're able to stay that way.
I decided to just stick to what I love this time around so I didn't have to stress about it.
I've had these super cute craft stamps from Inkbot Shop for a minute now and I was so excited to get them inky. I really love how all my go to crafty tools are represented.
It's a completely one layer card which makes my heart happy. I actually had to do minimal masking in order to create it. Honestly, it looks a lot like my real craft desk.
I got to work with my Copics and it was awesome to just color. Nothing else. Just color.
There's a reason I got into this hobby. It's such a wonderful stress reliever and this week I sure needed it.

I really love this color combo. Pink and neon green always have made my heart go pitter patter :) The added benefit of that pool color isn't so bad either haha!

Just got done watching the video and first let me just say I'm sorry you and obliviously the officer as well as the whole department had to experience that. One of the reasons I watch your videos is because of how real,quirky,funny,and honest you are. Life isn't always rainbows and sunshine and it's okay to Express that. I'm sure in some way it was therapeutic to talk about it. Hang in there.

ReplyDeleteWhen I watched your video I was really surprised that there was not glossy accents on your paint blob, amazing coloring!! I am with your son, so do not like water in my face either and the pineapple on ice cream ewww. Totally caramel for me too! Sorry your week was so bad, I hope all improves soon!!

Hi Kelly, my original message never posted hmmm, I'm sorry your week was so stressful but glad to hear the officer will be ok!! You are a brave soul jumping in that cold pool but thats the only way to do it. Watching you create your cards and tell stories is the best. Good for you! We all need our releases. I agree with you...pineapple does not belong on ice cream. It belongs with coconut and rum :)

ReplyDeleteYour card is beautiful. I love the paint spill and how it actually looks shinny. Oh the paint brush area that is metal is called Ferrule.. I love hearing your stories and sorry about your friend being shot and your other friend going to a different department and the fun times with your son.. Oh yes I do love pineapple and ice cream.
