I'm super excited to be sharing a new video with you guys today and it even includes a bit of story time too :)
I'm sharing this card that I created for Honey Bee Stamps using the stippling technique to create lots of texture.
I really love how big Lily the Lamb is. She can definitely carry a card all by herself. I just needed to add a bit of background for her to stand in.
Using distress inks and masking paper I created a hill mask to build the background. Make sure you save both pieces you'll need them!
After I did the background I went to work with my copic markers. You can see the whole card from start to finish in the video below. Included free of charge is my recent spider adventures.

Love Lily! I like seeing the techniques you use to add texture. Get those spiders! May have to call in the “Spider Busters”!

ReplyDeleteSpiders ... every hair stood on end when you said you nearly touched it, aaarrrgh ! I'm afraid I'm still in the scream & run club with these creatures, I have a rule in my house, if you've left education you pay your share in rent & as no spider has ever sent some money to me then they aren't living in my house ! I think your wonderfully brave x
Oh my, what a story Kelly, those spiders... you would say that they should know better, "do not go near that house they kill you" LOL Hope you soon be freed from all the spiders.
