This kit has a special place in my heart. All the coffee cuteness! Eeep! I'm totally smitten :)
It is summer so I couldn't skip the bright colors entirely and since there were so many cute cups to use I didn't have to miss any of my favorite colors!
I started by stamping and masking my cups. In order to get my whip cream inside the cups I just wiped off the ink from the edge of the cup before I stamped. Super easy! I left the masks in place to create my distress oxide background.
After the ink blending was done I used one of the new add ons Floral Doily Bold Prints to create some wallpaper to go with my counter top. the whole thing is a bit too blue in hindsight but that's okay those bright colors still POP.
I did super quick shading with my gray copic markers before covering each cup in one solid color and then added some shading to the countertop. Each one of those adorable sentiments is also included in the kit!

ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty Kelly. The coffee cups look like they are on my table with the varying shapes, sizes and sayings. LOL I love how you used the print background on the top and the distressed bottom with the splatters, really gives the card some interest. You're the bomb!
