Coloring Marble with Copic Markers and Spellbinders

 Hello Crafters! 

Well I made it to my Friday.
Whoo Hoo!

It's weird because now that peanut is in school if I want to go back to bed after getting him off to class I totally can. Like, I can sleep guys.
It's almost the best thing ever haha

I was on the Spellbinders blog sharing this card a few weeks ago and wanted to make sure I shared it here. 

Why?

Well the videos are different. From now on the video on the Spellbinders channel will be strictly instructional while the video on my channel will be the usual craft and chat. 

That way no matter which kind of video you enjoy there's something for everyone! 

So even though I'm not a wine drinker I'm friends with plenty of them! This particular die is actually a wine tag but I just modified it to fit a card. I love switching things up to get more out of them. 

I started by stamping down the corks and coloring them with my copic markers. I really loved the way they came out! 

Next I pulled out the cool gray markers and tried my hand at creating a marble counter top. 

This was my very first try ever and was surprisingly easy if you don't let yourself over think it!

The video really doesn't do the shading on that wine glass any justice. Please check out the still photos to see how it turned out. I was surprised by how much the distress ink lighten with the gloosy accents on top. It turned my red wine into more of a Rosé for sure haha
