Introducing Monster Hugs from Concord & 9th and Simon Says Stamp!
Isn't he just the sweetest Monster you ever saw?!
I couldn't let this set go by without using that big beautiful Balloon! I decided to use the frame in the set to create a sign too! Simple scenes are such fun :)
I the set there are two different hands included. One is waving and one is clasping. I chose the latter because I had these gorgeous birthday balloons. I stamped everything with minimal masking. Just that one center balloon needed it this time. I used a T-square ruler to create the additional parts of my sign.
After everything was stamped I got to coloring! I couldn't wait to make this guy super fuzzy! I used the flicking technique on top of my shading to create a fuzzy texture that matches his outline. I did the transparent technique on the balloons after I added wood grain to my sign.
The entire card was super quick and I love how bright and fun it feels!

ReplyDeleteI love the cute blue monster. Great idea on the balloons. I love the whole look of your card. We have three rescue dogs. Two were just given up from friends and one was a rescue through a site. I think a dog that is rescued would be a great choice and we are lucky that there hasn't been behavior issues or anything. Plus they are potty trained. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteAdorable blue momster, thank you for so many textures to learn quickly. Now blue monsters under beds ! Are we talking 'Monsters Inc' ? Aqua blue monster that originally hired under beds to scare kids but discovers laughter is better . Or are we doing the blue monster that hides under a scared kids bed but when he finds out the kid is scared he takes him on a picnic to befriends ? Right I'm monstered out sorry. Thank you for hilarious pet story, I became aware that my partner was actually listening to you when they shouted out ' who cares about the card, what about the guinea pig ?' Lol
