I sure did.
I didn't get as much accomplished as I would like but I did sleep a lot and spend sometime with friends. So I'm calling it a win :)
I'm back to share another STAMPtember set. This collaboration is with Newton's Nook and it's completely adorable.
This is Hello Beautiful and it's critters are crazy cute!
I couldn't just pick one :)
I stamped the critters with their signs and banners down using Copic safe ink because, you guessed it, Copic coloring!!
I used one color shading for all the coloring except the white. I was worried the white would get lost with all the bold colors being used around it.
After I colored it I felt like it was still a little too simple. I added a drop shadow to each character and then brough in a rainbow of colors to create a confetti border on each side of the card.
You can watch the whole card come together below. I also tell the third spider story. I don't recommend drinking anything during that portion of the video haha.
Oh man these spiders are going to kill me lol. But at least it makes for a few funny stories :)

I would so love to do live feeds Im great with thru but being technology challenged I only know FB live but for you I will learn which ever way is most voted

ReplyDeleteI too will try and hook up with any form of live event you do. (I AM on IG but rarely look at it, however, if that is what you choose to do, I will try my best to catch them.)

If you want to go live, please on FB or You Tube, I still don't understand Instagram, just discovered how I can find the stories.
And if you go live, please notify a few days or a week before, I live in The Netherlands and somehowe I get my mailings a day or sometimes 2 days later.
Ok. 1. I tried to help you out and be like "it might be a different species of skunk," but you were totally right; the tail means that that first critter is a fox.
ReplyDelete2. Spiders don't unhinged their jaws they do something probably even more horrifying to you, so I won't tell you unless you really want to know.
3. I'm not on Instagram, and I, like you have multiple jobs, so if you do live events I will likely miss them no matter when they are. If you could record them and post replays, I know I would appreciate that.

OH my gosh you are too funny. I hate snakes and spiders are up there too.. Good luck. Winter should be here soon so that will kill off or prevent the critters from being around. I hope.. I love your card and cute idea of the box around the sweet images. I think it's a fox too. I hardly do live chats because I never know if I will be around to watch. BUT I do follow this blog page so if it's here I will see it.. I love seeing your work and hearing your stories.. Hugs

Weather is is about spiders or stories about peanut I just can't get enough. ReplyDeleteGorgeous card, that they shadow really adds a pop, must try that one, thanks. Now follow you, I have attendance to watch your blog or you tube, I have a battle with Instagram whenever I try to use it so I now avoid it but would try Facebook if that's the answer. So I will follow like a sheep. Spider !! Now I can scream louder than any alarm warning system when it comes to spiders, you are braver than me as if one was in same area code as me I can out run top sprinters to get away. I do have a house rule for any bug, if you don't pay board or do chores you're out ! Try that rule .
