Whew buddy it's been a minute!
The last two weeks of my life have been a whirlwind of activity that didn't leave a lot of time for videos. Sorry!
Before we get into the card...
Happy Halloween!
Peanut and I went as Cleopatra and a Mummy
I let him pick his costume and then I match it. This year was a struggle. After finally settling on Cleopatra I had to accept the wig situation.
eeek.
Me + short black hair = ewwww

Alright to the card!
Sooo long story short me and Miriam made the same card. I totally didn't realize it until after the fact and decided to share it anyway. Great minds think alike and all that jazz. Seriously, she is super talented and I would encourage you to check out her blog.
I kept this one super simple and let my cute little witch be the star of the show. I used some masking tape to create my own striped background with some distress ink and love the way it came out. There's something classy about a bold stripe, am I right?
I colored up my characters with Copics. I stuck to a limited color palette but I had a few tricks to switch up the colors so all the black didn't blend in with each other.

Even though it was really quick and the layout is so simple I love the card.
It just feels so clean to me :)

Fantastic photo of you & peanut, hope you had a great spooky time. We stayed in & have out candy to our little visitors at the door, so cute. Am so glad you are both fine & that life was just busy busy & nothing else. Great cute card, the fact that you & Miriam did similar just says that great minds think the same my dear. As for your lack of spiders congratulations ! We had one in the other day & inbetween my screaming I was informed by my other half that it's coming to end inbreeding season & it was looking for a mate. So from my bed I explained across the room that as no spiders live in this house that outside is his best bet. So he's out ! Take care of you both & see you soon.🌟

I kept coming back to your blog thinking I was missing your videos.. but no nothing new. so was so surprised when I saw your video a few days back.. Glad the spider issue is on the down side.
