Alright let's get to it. It's been too long since I made a card!
I loved everything coming out of this release! I managed to fit most of it on my card and still keep it my style which is a small miracle lol. I started by stamping and masking my images. Starting with the image I wanted to be in the forefront and working my way back.
Once I had everything stamped I removed all the masks and went to work with my Copic markers. Everyone has their thing and man I love coloring. It helps me right everything in my world. I mixed up the reds and greens with different shades to create lots of interest.
Once the coloring was done I went back and outlined all the images before adding white highlights. I cut a few of the Season's Greetings sentiments and stacked them up to create a more substantial sentiment. I adore this font don't you?!
A few gems from the holiday mix finished it off. I'm usually a sequin girl but these were too pretty not to use. All the sparkly things :)

ReplyDeleteYour copic coloring actually fooled me - I thought you had applied some kind of clear resin or gloss on the ornament to make it 3D - but it looks like that because of your copic skills!! WOW! That is so super cool - your card inspires me to really practice my coloring!

These stamps are so beautiful and I thought that you used something like glossy accents on the ornament but saw in the post that you used only white to highlight. Loos awesome. ReplyDeleteGorgeous card, that bauble is magic, I honestly thought at first glance it was covered in clear gloss to get the raised effect. But not it just raised in front of my eyes as you coloured it, brilliant. Sorry to hear about Mike, I hope you have many happy memories of him. The pants situation, did Mike have a great sense of humour ? Maybe he was watching laughing at you all as you all breathed in for the service etc. Think of it that way.lol.

I love your stories and glad all turned out ok. Gee wiz my sizes change so much over the years I have different sizes. I know they say to throw away sizes that don't fit but hay.. never know. Hopefully now I am where I should be and need to be and not have to depend on them.
