Hello Crafters!
Happy Sunday!
As we're heading into a new week I wanted to stop in and share my final fall card of this year. Even though I'm crazy late.
However, it is 55 degrees here in Cleveland.
Mother Nature is clearly off her rocker.

Today I used something different to create my card. Photo Play Paper has entire line of Color Me Papers which are basically black and white images printed on ultra smooth 110lb cardstock. They were great to take traveling with me. I used two here.
The price point is amazing AND they are even on sale right now for less than a buck.
Whhaaat?! I know!
You can see the entire line here.

I had no idea what I wanted to do with this cute little truck until I colored it with my copics and fussy cut it out. When I went to mount it on the card I thought....Ooooh this could be a scene.
I gave myself a little outline of the truck to get the placement right and then I just started scribbling down a road. For real. I didn't have much of an idea until I started actually doing it. the grass was a given. What old pumpkin truck isn't traveling down an old dirt road through grassy fields?
You can see the entire card from start to finish in the video below.
Even though I missed the boat on fall I still think the scene is super fun!
If you'd like to check out Debby's post you can find it here.
In case you wanted to see the other cards I've included a few extra photos..
For a few of them I cut out and combined different images included on the papers.
Others like Pumpkin and leaves were definitely enough to stand alone.
Do you see the flowers in the top right?
Yeah, I colored my own pattern paper.
You can pick your jaw up now. I know the shock was a bit much.
Thank you guys so much for stopping by!
I'll be back Tuesday with something extra fun.

Great colouring Kelly, love that you have some time again. The card you made is awesome, although i don't have Copics I always love to see you colour with them, I watch and learn from it. Thank you so much and hope to see and hear you soon.
ReplyDeleteThis is fantastic Kelly and what great images.
ReplyDeleteLovely field of green!
ReplyDeleteps - Did you get my email???
Fantastic coloring! Question for you please when you have time - I colored a tiny snowman image on a one layer card and ended up going too dark with the greys. I tried removing some of that color and lightening up the image but no luck. I finally decided to let it dry and I’ll see how it blended out and maybe try more blending. My question is...how do you lighten up the greys once they go too dark? Is there a way to salabage my little snowman? Lol
ReplyDeleteI may just fussy cut one and use a pop dot to cover it up lol - that will fix it lol
Thanks as always - I enjoy your process and love the inspiration.
Hello.
ReplyDeleteWhen you travel and colour with copics, how do you store them and what do you bring? Do you bring all your markers or do you have just some favourites you bring?
Thank you.
Sincerely, Amy Oke
This report is indeed nice! I really love your insanely creative post. It's a huge pleasure to read your posts!
ReplyDeleteGreat post, great picture, don't worry about the lateness issuse, it's how you colour that we can concentrate on not so much the what. I learn so much from you every time I read or watch your posts no matter what you colour, thank you. Now on another subject- Affiliated links, are fabulous like you say & many times I do try to use them to support you & a few others but I'm in the UK, as much as I would adore to always use these links international shipping causes me problems. It's an double the cost for me & others, so we have to hunt the UK for similar unfortunately. I don't know about others but I feel so guilty when I can't do my bit to support you in such an easy manner. Please don't take offense that if we dont , I know if I can I will.
