A post two days in a row.
I know it's shocking.
Are you dead? Do you need CPR?
Actually it's just that I have a few days off before Christmas and I'm definitely spending it crafting.
I'm up on the Neat & Tangled Blog with this fun and easy card set.
I used a few of their stencils to create interesting backgrounds but I kept the color the same to create the continuity you want in a set.
In case you didn't see Neat & Tangled as been doing December deals all month long and the current one is stencils!
They have a ton of cute ones!

I started with the backgrounds using Salty Ocean for each one. I laid down a light layer before putting the stencil on and adding more distress ink on top. A few spatters of clean water and shimmer spray on top finished those off.
I copic colored all the images before die cutting them out and popping them up with foam tape. Even though each of these images comes from a 3x4 set they are plenty big to carry an entire card by themselves.

I think each one is super cute. I really love the subtle background with those bright colors.
In the video I did say I would share Peanut and his Grinch face. I will not disappoint :)
That is also his ugly not ugly sweater by the way.
I think he looks perfectly adorable but I'm biased :)

This one combines the Merry Kisses and Radiating Star Stencil.
Here we have Bunny Slopes and the Geometric Circles Stencil
Magical day and Rice Paddies. This one might be y favorite. You already know I love the stencil but that unicorn is making my inner little girl heart happy.
Last S'more Fun and Dimensional Triangles which I think is a great gender neutral card.

Magical card set, love the lot. I can sit & watch you colour for hours it's so relaxing, thank you. Shop with a cop sounds a fantastic day for everyone involved, bless you all. Peanut looks super cute, my youngest was super shy all his earlier school years then suddenly wham ! He's so confident & outgoing, so don't worry he will find his spot. I hope you both have a grinch tastic Christmas x

ReplyDeleteI hope you will show next year(?) how you put the glue on to the stencil, I have always problems with the small long parts in a stencil and I think it's a great idea to use the glue.
Peanut looks awesome, I saw him already on Instagram and it's so cute you painted on his face.
