Hello Crafters!
I've been a bit backed up with sharing. Well on all my social media accounts except Youtube honestly. I'm trying to find a balance. Stay with me alright?
This weekend I shared these two cards over on the Honey Bee Stamps Blog and wanted to share them over here too!
Seems likely lately if I'm making one card I'm making two and this is no exception.
This weekend I shared these two cards over on the Honey Bee Stamps Blog and wanted to share them over here too!
Seems likely lately if I'm making one card I'm making two and this is no exception.
I decided to try and tackle two different styles with the cards. The one on the left is Clean and Layered while the one on the right is Clean and Simple. They are exactly the same except for the addition of the flowers and the frame to the one on the left.
I was able to create exactly the same card thanks to my MISTI. What did we do before stamp positioners?! hahaha. Obviously, it's pretty simple to create the same card twice with or without one but I love how easy the MISTI makes it. I stamped this scene on both of my cards the only difference is this one is stamped on the positive of a die cut. Everything was colored with my copics.
For this one I stamped the scene on a piece of A2 sized white cardstock. Once it was colored up I stamped a few of the flowers and leaves from the Cosmos set to add to the frame. Because of the size of the flowers it makes the hive look smaller and forces it to the background. The die cut frame and flowers were added with foam adhesive to create even more dimension.
You can see both and hear about my recent dinner experience in the video below :)
It seems like the general censuses is that I'm not a rude jerk lol. Speaking of majority opinions on Youtube the layered card seems to be getting a little more love. What do you think? Simple or layered?
Thank you so much for stopping by!
I'll be back tomorrow for an extra surprise!
