Easter Card

 Hello Crafters! 

This week is going to be thinly controlled chaos in my life. 

Sometimes that happens when you try to fit in ALL. THE. THINGS. 

Pray for me. 

That's dramatic. but seriously ya'll, it's gonna be a week. 

I shared this sweet pastel scene over on the Neat & Tangled Blog yesterday. 

I absolutely adore the All the Bunnies set. The idea of this bear being brought in as one of the tribe just makes my heart smile. I thought it would be super fun for the bunnies to be welcoming him in with a sweet treat. 

Are eggs sweet treats? 

You betcha. Mine would be filled with maple cream. 

Maple cream....all the heart eyes. 

I decided to add a bit of stenciling in the background to create some added interest. It's no secret the Rice Paddies stencil is one of my all time favorites and I love how it looks like water or wind. 

Wind in this case ;) 

Even though I've got nothing but love for bright bold colors Easter and Spring always make me think pastels. The whole process of coloring with pastel colors is a challenge for me but it's good to try things outside of the norm right?
