Now onto the current card.... let's talk rainbows
I absolutely loved this stamp from Picket fence. Not only because of the beautiful florals but because of the sentiments. Specifically this sentiment. I just adore the whole idea behind it.
I started by adding a light watercolor wash of distress oxide over my stamping because I really wanted that artsy soft background. Once that dried I went in with my copic markers to really make the flowers pop.

I really love this rainbow of flowers combined with the neutrals of the feathers. And I'm not going to lie sometimes it's really nice to stamp one image and move on to the coloring lol.

Awesome card Kelly. I love this technique from underpainting and then colour on top of it, I mast give that a try.
ReplyDeleteAnd as answer to your question, No I don't no what chocolate gravy is, I just looked it up on Google. I must say I don't live in the US and it seems to be a Southern US specialty, so it isn't that odd I didn't know it.

ReplyDeleteThat card is gorgeous! I consider myself an expert on all things chocolate, but I have to admit I've never heard of chocolate gravy. Must not be a "southern thing" (I'm in Texas)!
