I'm poppin' in real quick from vacation to share a card with ya'll.
This card looks very beachy which is perfect because that's where I'm at lol.
So far we've had amazing weather and have been bouncing back and forth from the beach to the pool and back again.

This card looks very beachy which is perfect because that's where I'm at lol.
So far we've had amazing weather and have been bouncing back and forth from the beach to the pool and back again.
Now you know I love glitter. And Color.
Glitter + Color = happy heart
This card makes it super easy to combine the both of them in a very striking background.
I started by ink blending a few colors of Distress Oxide onto my card panel. You can use any inks you love for blending in any colors you like. I'd stay away from blending complimentary colors though. Most of them when mixed make brown. However, you can use complimentary colors with a buffer color in between. For example Blue and orange are complimentary colors. You could use a pink or a yellow in between to blend them together.
Once the ink blending was done I laid my stencil over my inked background and used my palette knife to spread a thin even layer of Glimmer Paste over top. I just held my stencil with my hand but if you're using a more intricate stencil you may want to tape it down.
Wash your stencil and knife immediately. This stuff dries fast and it's difficult to get off once it's dry.
