When I was perusing for inspiration to create this card I stumbled across several watercolored Hellebore on Pinterest. I loved the idea! A few were loose watercolor but one or two of them had a really loose background but a few detailed flowers right out front as the focal point. Those ar the ones I was most taken with.
I followed the guide to stamp out all the layers of two of the flowers. Using the Sweet Dreams mini cube set made it so simple. Four layers, four colors. BAM! done.
I did the same for the leaves using the Green Meados mini cube set. In the past I have struggled with picking colors for my stamp layering that allow all of the layers to shine through. These sets make it fool proof which really is best for me!
Once I was done stamping the flowers and leaves I added in my watercolor background. I chose watercolor brush markers that already matched colors I had going on in my flowers. After they were dry I spattered on some perfect pearls and stamped my sentiment.
Really simple card but it has a lot of impact thanks to the amazing shading you get with layering!
