This gorgeous fall set will be gone in no time I just know it!

I decided to do a little watercoloring with mine!
I heat embossed the large floral bouquet in white on watercolor cardstock. I used a stand alone flower and a leaf from the set to fill in my corners too.
I used lots of water and lots of distress ink to very loosely color in my blooms. I find I like watercolor the best when I let the watercolor do the work. I chose to go with original distress inks because the color is so much bolder than oxides.
I had a little bit of a time getting the colors exactly right so it did take some playing around. Which honestly didn't bother me a bit. It's fun to play in colors sometimes.

I still wish the flowers had a bit more dimension but that's a me thing. And an excuse to color them up with my copics haha!
