I really loved these watercolors guys.
All. The. Shimmer.
In order to show off the shimmer in the best way possible I decided to use black cardstock.
Full transparency this is not watercolor card stock.
Because I didn't use watercolor cardstock I had to use a minimal amount of water.
Still worked amazing.
I started by masking a small square to make room for my sentiment. I just used a post it note which totally worked by the way. Just trim it down to the size you need. I traced my square with a white gel pen to mark where to stamp my sentiment.
I stamped the rose bouquets from Forever in Love across the top in clear ink and then removed the mask. I heat set the flowers in white embossing powder. Make sure to clean up your stray embossing powder before heating it. Since the sentiment is meant to be a clean square it's important there's no white speckles inside.
Once tht was done I did the same with my sentiment.
Then the fun part...
Painting!
Like I said earlier I used minimal water since I wasn't working on watercolor paper.
I did layer the colors to add variety of color to the shimmer.
Once the painting was done I re-masked my square and spattered a very little bit of Prasiolite in the background.
