This time we're going back in time to the 1950's.
You know the deal once the kits are gone they are gone. You can pick yours up here. If you never want to miss another one subscribe here! They also always release a whole bunch of fantastic add ons to really round out your collection.
At $75 worth of product for $34.99 it's a steal.
Now onto the card!
Yes, it's a shape card. I know I just said I don't make shape cards but I had the idea to create a scene inside an ornament and I couldn't undo it. Consequently, here we have a scene inside of an ornament haha.
I cut two of the largest ornaments from the Hero Arts Infinity Ornament set, the top from the mirror cardstock included in the kit, and a fun glitter bow. Then, I went to work stamping my scene out. With any one layer card remember to stamp what you want in front, or what you want to see the most of first.
After my stamping was done I added some color around the edges to make it appear as though the scene was either the reflection of the room or a little scene inside the ornament. I'm good with which ever vibe you get lol. The entire scene was copic colored because that's my jam people.
Even though it's not my usual style I think it's such a fun idea to mix things up. I highly recommend you do it from time to time too!
If you're in love with this kit grab it before it's gone!
Thanks so much for dropping by!
Your next stop on the hop is the amazing Laurie Willison!

ReplyDeleteI DON'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT ART BUT I KNOW WHAT I LIKE? Perhaps you've gone to a gallery or art museum, looked at the artwork displayed and said to yourself, "What the heck is that? I can't understand it! Why is this here in a gallery?" Or, maybe you've gone to a gallery or art museum and your reactions was, "Wow! Great stuff! I like this! I don't know why, but I do!" flag patches for jackets
