Pretty Pink Posh October 2019 Release: Amaryllis Snow Scene

 Hello Crafters! 

Welcome to the Pretty Pink Posh October 2019 Release Hop!

There was so many good things to choose from in this release it was so hard to create just one card! Ultimately, the Amaryllis set won out because flowers. If I have to explain beyond that you don't even know me. 

I stamped several of the flowers and leaves along the bottom of my card panel. I also incorporated some images from the Elegant Holly set to add interest and break up the color through out the design. Once everything was stamped I started adding in the background. 

I masked my flowers before starting my ink blending. I used a few shades of blue and a few shades of green to get some dimension. I also spattered on some clean water and perfect pearls in the background. I wanted the sky to look like a clear night of falling snow. 

With the images still masked I used the snowflakes from the new Winter Borders set to do some tone on tone stamping in the sky. 

The last step to complete the scene was to add some snow. i used white acrylic paint and a stiff bristled brush to flick paint from the side of an acrylic block. This creates a fine mist of white and gives the appearance of snow. To finish off the card I die cut the Season's Greetings sentiment several times and glued them together to add some weight.
