Mine was quite the whirlwind hence the late night post.
I know you get it :)
Today's card was creating using a few of the new products from Tonic Studios Winter Wonderland release. It has so many adorable stamps in it!
I was drawn immediately to the Snowman Snuggles set. I think they're super adorable all snuggled up next to each other. I also loved the Winter Wonderland stencil but wasn't sure how to incorporate it into my scene and make everything "fit"
I started by stamping and coloring my snowman using my Nuvo alcohol markers. In order to make the background match I used a copic safe black pen to trace the stencil onto my background.
Once that was done I ink blending a skyline using a few different blue and blue green inks. I colored the rest of the scene with my markers before adding the stars with glimmer paste. I love how glittery they are every time!

I love the addition of the snow on the trees and the roof. I think it really brings the whole scene together.

ReplyDeleteOhh my, water is terrible, hope everything is dry now and nothings bad happening because of the water.
I think your dotted nails are cute but perhaps you can do a light coat of colour before adding the dots.

QuESTION: everytime I see you outlining your image when your colouring is done I wanted to aske (and forget) if you colour all the lines, in and out lines?

ReplyDeleteFantastic way to use the stencil, must add that to memory, great, cute scene. Nail polish question, do like the idea, in navy, grey, black & sparkle but not fall colours.x
