This entire release is adorable and I had a really hard time choosing just one idea to go with haha. You can check out the entire release here. 

Ultimately the scene won out for me. I went with some layering this time but I have lots of one layer ideas too.

I started by drawing an extra large box in the background. This sounds complicated but really it's a few simple lines. Don't be afraid! I colored my box to be a white/gray color. I didn't want it to be the focal point. Really it's just helping me set the scene for my birthday piggie. 

On another sheet of white cardstock I stamped my pig, candies and heart suckers. Which I didn't use as suckers at all. I colored them like balloons. The candies were tons of fun to color with my copics and add little details too. I adore these sweet treats! 

I decided to add a little more detail to my box by stamping "Handmade Sweet Treats" and a little heart on the side. I know you can't read the entire thing but it looked to plain without something on the side. 

Once the coloring was all done I cut out all my images using their matching dies. They were added with either glue or foam tape for varying heights and added interest. A heat embossed sentiment finished it off. 

As cute as the pig from the Bad Influence set is the sentiments are even better lol
