Today I have two cards for you and both are a little different for me.
Let's get to it!
I originally had a completely different idea but sometimes as you work through the process different ideas start to emerge that maybe you like a little better than the original game plan lol.
Ultimately, these two card started with some distress oxide ink.
I pulled out the Rainbow Sherbet paper pack and started matching distress oxide colors. Surprisingly, it wasn't hard at all. I ink blending my entire panel to use with my Huge Snowflake dies. Once I started die cutting I really loved the negative piece that was left behind so I decided to use it too!
I used the positive snowflakes paired with a striped paper from the pack and a heat embossed sentiment from Snowy Salutations. I did add a few white glitter snowflakes into the mix as well!
I used the same glitter paper as the base of my distress oxide piece. Another heat embossed sentiment and more enamel dots finished this one off.

ReplyDeleteThe cards were so pretty. I have only used the nuvo drops a few times so far. I had peaks, but tapped the card down a few times and the peaks disappeared no problem.

Oh wow!! This is a great idea to use the pretty blended background to make the snowflakes for the other striped background card!! Am loving BOTH!!! This is TWO-fers!! And love that too!!
