Since it's a birthday celebration ya'll know I had to make a birthday card! 

I used every cutie in the new Party Friends set to create a "Surprise" party card. I started by doing some masking so it would all be one layer just like I like 'em :) 

After all my characters were stamped and masked I used one of the Birthday Borders to add some presents in the background. That adorable koala looked like he needed some confetti popping out of that cake with him so I stamped lots of that too. 

There were tons of neutral colors with the coloring of the animals so I knew I was going to need to add all my color with the presents and decorations. I chose to go mainly with primary colors so I didn't overwhelm an already busy scene with lots of colors. Copic markers were my go to but you could easily do this with pencils or even a watercolor marker. 

Once the charters and decorations were colored I added some weight to my confetti by outlining it in a pale blue. This helps fill up the area so it isn't boring ole' white. 

You know the deal by now...I'm sleep deprived and don't have enough hours in the day.
