Zig Clean Color Watercolor Clouds

 

Hello Crafters! 

I hope you all are having an amazing weekend! I've been off work which is super nice but then there's always things that sneak in and fill up my off time. Life is like that. 

I did manage to get in a bit of craft time this weekend. 

I've been loving the new release from Honey Bee stamps and it's hard to decide what to use first lol. This particular stamp set just screamed pretty brightly colored clouds to me so I decided to embrace it. 

It's been a long time since I used my Zig Clean Color Markers and as usual when I finally get back around to them I'm always surprised by how gorgeous the colors are. Why do I wait so long?! 

I envisioned a sky with a brightly colored sunset just starting and they definitely met the challenge.  

I did do a little bit of masking for the balloon to put up my decoration and banner. the no-line ink I chose absorbs any color put on top of it ad I didn't want the lines from the balloon showing through. I also stamped a few clouds as guidelines but I wiped off the bottom the edge before stamping so I would have a soft blend.

Adding little details like the shadow and the fence really help the scene come together for me. But honestly the clouds are my favorite part :)
