Today's card is a little different for me. This set was designed for Honey Bee by my amazing friend Emily Midgett. I fell in love with it immediately. Combining these fun farm flowers with the new Buffalo Plaid background stamp was a match made in heaven for me.
I stamped the Buffalo Plaid in a medium cool gray shade to compliment my metal pitcher. I stamped my images in Inkon3 Fadeout Ink. I opted for no line coloring because practice is important! haha.
Also, because I thought it would be SO pretty.
I colored the images up with my copic markers before die cutting them with their matching dies. The sentiment isn't from a new set but It's one I thought fit well for the grateful/encouragement card kick I've been on lately. I did use a smaller piece of white cardstock to break up the background. I can't do too much pattern. That's a personal preference. I 'm sure it would look amazing on just the plaid too!

ReplyDeleteThis is just beautiful! Your Copic coloring is so amazing as always. Question, have you removed the broad tip on your markers and replaced that with a nib? If so, what size nib? It appears not to be the brush tip.
