Honey Bee Stamps Autumn Afternoon Blog Hop

Hello Crafters! 

Welcome to Day 2 of the Honey Bee Stamps Autumn Afternoon Blog Hop!

This release you guys! 
I have no idea how Honey Bee keeps putting out these amazing releases. I love each one. 
This time around the cute coffee cups from Treat Yo Self just stole my heart. I wanted to make myself a little fall themed scene. 


I combine a one layer background with some die cut focal images to get plenty of dimension. I masked off a few different areas to create a counter, wall, and cork board on my background. I decided to distress inks to color the background because they are a little softer in color. Once my cork board was colored I masked the outside of it and stamped the Coffee Beans background overtop. I LOVE IT. It's such a fun interesting background piece. 


Once my background piece was finished I stamped my coffee cups and just the outline of my leaves in black copic safe ink. I colored the coffees with copic markers but I chose to use distress oxides to ink blend for the leaves. Unfortunately, I didn't end up loving the intensity of the color with this method and ended up adding more color over top of them with copic markers. 


I die cut everything and adhered them together varying between gluing them flat and foam tape for dimension. I added some shadows under the die cuts to finish out the scene and I think it's adorable!
