It's been freezing here lately so today I'm happy to be sharing some pretty watercolor flowers. I cannot wait for Spring!

I'm loving this new coloring book and can see myself taking it to work to get in some practice time.
Each design has a no-line and a black outline version.
Today I used both.
I used my Altenew Watercolor Pan set today and chose to do some under painting before adding more detailed painting to the images.
Under painting is just a fancy name for the first light wash of color you put down. In this case it creates my background.
Forthe second card I did the same thing with some bolder color and then used my Altenew Artist Markers to color in the image creating a mixed media piece.

I'm just trying watercolor and love it. It's so relaxing and enjoyable to slowly paint your way to being stress free! I think the coloring book is a great idea and can't wait to try it.
