Today I used the adorable Adventure Awaits set along with some of the new super cute pattern paper. The mirror technique let me switch up my images so I could use them together in this sweet little scene. 

I started stamping my suitcase bunny on a piece of acetate. You don't need anything fancy, in fact for this one I just used the protective sheet for the stamp packaging. Once your image is stamped, turn it over and stamp in directly down onto your cardstock. Hold it in place with one hand and gently rub/press with the other. This tranfers the image. It is fairly light so I like to use a copic safe pen to trace over the lines. 

 

I only need to flip one image for them to be facing each other and then I started coloring. I used two different gray families to color my bunnies and my metal objects to keep them seperated. I chose a fun pink to go with my blue and green background. It merries well as it's still pastel but it's a nice bright spot of color in otherwise neutral images. 

I added some ink blending to the edges of pattern paper to create a highlight in the center. A few green copic markers created a nice shadow to ground my images. I trimmed them out by hand since I used the mirror technique and the dies would no longer fit my suitcase bunny. 

Both images were popped up on foam with a sweet but simple sentiment.
