Hello Crafters!
I'm so excited to be joining Hero Arts Spring Release Blog Hop!
You should have arrived from the Hero Arts Blog If you're just stopping by you'll want to head over since I'm the last stop on the hop you'll have missed a ton of inspiration!
Hero Arts is generously giving away THREE $50 gift cards, drawn from the comments left across the hop. Enter by Sunday, February 20 at 11:59pm pacific, and the winner will be announced on the Hero Arts blog the following week.
There's so many amazing products with this new release it was hard to make a choice but ultimately I couldn't resist playing with these new Looking Glass Dies! You can check out the entire release here.
I NEEDED to make a shaker card with these dies but I wanted them all stacked up too. Soooo you're getting two cards! I colored them exactly the same way I just did the card design a bit different. It's so fun how you can get two different looks!
I started by cutting all three of the dies, colored them with my copics and stacked them all up nice and easy. I did add foam between the second and third layer to add more dimension. I cut and colored the Looking Glass Fine Art Frame to finish off this adorable birthday scene.
I used a slimline design to fit in all the Looking Glass Birthday Party Dies. I love how this scene plays out across the entire card. I stamped my background on my card base. I added two layers of foam tape around each die cut frame careful to leave no gaps. I then added my sequin confetti and secured the card base. I cut three frames using the Square from the Looking Glass Circle and Square Frames. I did have to trim the middle one just a smidge to make them all fit and give myself even borders.
These two were so fun to make. AND now I have two birthday cards ready and waiting to be sent off.
Today Hero Arts is also releasing their sign up for the Spring Stamp Along
There's so many amazing designers included in this stamp along. You will learn so much!
You can check out the products being used in class here. Or you can buy everything used all together in a bundle here.
Here's the first card from start to finish.
Thanks so much for dropping by!

loving your cards today - thanks for sharing these awesome ideas
ReplyDeleteI really like how you colored it the same way and showed two different ideas/layouts.
ReplyDeleteI like how you aren't afraid of RICH colors. I tend to make my images look washed out. I need to be more BOLD.
ReplyDeleteWonderful use of a slimline card framing for the cake party celebration.

ReplyDeleteWhat a cute die set and you did a bang up job with it. So did the pants get returned yet??
ReplyDeleteOooo I love these cards! Aren't these LG sets the best?!? Can't wait to get the new ones. Thanks for the ideas!
ReplyDeleteI adore these cards, made better by "story time" in your videos! I have a rule about returning stuff: it is better to burn it than return it. The guilt, the time, the money you end up spending by going back into the store...totally not worth it! I'm looking forward to the Dermatologist Office Drama in your next video!
ReplyDeleteI gotta have the Birthday Looking Glass dies! I love how you used them!
ReplyDeleteI love your story time. Today’s left off on a cliff hanger 😁
ReplyDeleteI can’t wait to hear the next half of the story.
