There are so many fantastic new products with this release but you know me, it's ALL about the flowers. This beautiful magnolia stamp called my name immediately and I was helpless not to answer!
I did two versions using the stamps, stencils, and dies. The first version is a bit lighter and how I typically picture magnolias when I think of them. I love the depth you can get super quick and easy with those stencils!
The second version is a bit darker but honestly I love it so much. That bold pink is just beautiful. I used the Floral Tile Coverplate for the background on both of the cards. Using it on white gives the perfect amount of texture for interest while still letting the flowers shine!
I finished off both cards with some clear shimmer pen on the flowers and some glossy accents in the centers. For now I left them without a sentiment so I have two pretty cards in my stash for whatever occasion arises!

ReplyDeleteHi I’m Valerie Hunter. For some reason, I wasn’t allowed to put my name in. Loved watching your video and creating those two beautiful cards. Although my kids are all grown, listening to your frustration with all your chaos truly touched me. You so reminded me of those insane days with trying to juggle small kids and life. Hang in there and remember to enjoy the chaos because time flies and before you know it, they are grown and you realize that the chaos was really wonderful.
