Colorado Craft Company and Anita Jeram Cinderella: Magic, Yes Please!

 Hello Crafters!

This release is absolutely adorable. I love the look of Cinderella reimagined in Anita's whimsical style. 

If you remember way back when to the original animated movie the background during the magical Fairy Godmother scene was a minimal woods done in blues and purples. I created that look by stamping my images and masking them before adding ink blending on top. 

Once the ink blending was finished I drew in some very loose trees using my copic markers to fill in the background. When I say loose ya'll I mean it. I did a few stripes and added random branches. It's meant to be a background not the focal point so don't sweat it! I took some liberties with our Fairy Godmother's dress simply because I didn't want another blue/purple element. In the movie she has some peeks of pink so I ran with that. 

Now, the magic. Cinderella. I colored her dress blue and white but I wanted it to look like magic. 

Shimmer, glitter, pow, bang, boom. MAGIC. 

I shaded her dress as I normally would but then I went back in and added stippling, a series of small dots, to the dress to give it movement. The real magic comes in when you add the white gel pen. I added some white dots on the dress where the highlight was as well as some stars and dots on and around her dress. Too be far I did add both clear glitter and dots of glitter glue too! 

Cinderella gets all the sparkles :)
