Hello Crafters!
Welcome to the Pinkfresh January 2023 Blog Hop!
This release is fantastic. I had such a hard time choosing but ultimately the Inky Bouquet stole my heart!
Pinkfresh studios is generously giving away the full release on the Pinkfresh blog & YouTube channel. They also will be giving away a total of TEN $25 gift cards along the hop. As per usual with blog hops - the winners will be picked from the comments.
They will pull the winners & post them on January 31, 2023 on their GIVEAWAY PAGE. You must check that page & claim your prize within 2 weeks. Good Luck!
The Inky Bouquet has stamps, stencils, and dies. I used all three! I really wanted to go with a no line watercolor look but honestly that takes me ages. However I found a little cheat with the stencils!
I stamped in Distress Ink, any water soluble ink will work, onto water color paper. I then added color using my stencils and more distress ink. This gave me my base layer of watercolor. I just had to go in with my paintbrush and some water to move the pigment around and give me my watercolor look. With this base layer in place it was so much easier AND faster to complete the painting. I used my Karin Brushmarker Pros to add my additional shading direct to the paper.
You can see the entire process from start to finish in the video below.
Thank you so much for stopping by!
