Hello Crafters!
Today is the last day to the countdown of the newest Hero Arts My Monthly Hero!
This one is super fun...well these two?
Did you know there are two kits now?!
Both kits, the Classic and the Premium, along with some wonderful add-ons, will be available on Monday, March 6 at 10am PT.
WIN A KIT BEFORE YOU CAN BUY IT: Just leave a comment on this (and every) Countdown to Creativity post. We’ll randomly draw one lucky winner from comments left across all countdown posts on the Hero Arts blog. The winner will be announced first thing Monday morning, March 6th, before the kit launches at 10am Pacific. The more you comment, the more chances to win. Good luck!
I mean, stop it. Squeeze the Day? It's adorable.
I started off by heat embossing my background using clear embossing powder to make it stand out but not too much. I added a bit of ink blending around the edges as well.
I couldn't let the background stand out too much because I wanted these gorgeous oranges to be the star of the show. The were stamped, colored with Copics, and cut out using their coordinating dies.
I adhered them down to a white cardstock square and added a light shadow underneath them to ground them. The square was then added to the card with dimensional adhesive. This card layout works so well for so many elements. BUT we'll talk more about that tomorrow when the kit releases!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Make sure to stop by the other designers blogs for more inspiration and chances to win!
P.S. I do have a video on how I created this card...You can find it here.
I am new. Just signed up for the monthly kit and I am so excited. April is sold out unfortunately but I’m sure the next one will be as wonderful. I enjoyed your blog. I will be seeing you. Thx
