The Classic kit is so fun for summer. It is the kit I worked with for both cards today however, Hero Arts has started doing something new which is great...The Premium kit elements are now available for purchase separate from the kit.

 Silhouettes are so fun because it let's us play with lots of background techniques. For this card I used reactive inks to watercolor a sweet sunset background. 

I used the White Iridescent Shimmer spray to spatter a bit of magic onto the background before stamping my silhouettes and sentiment. You ca absolutely leave it just like that but in order to help the scene pop I added an arch die cut in white overtop. 

If you know me you know I love a bit of blue. Blue is perfect for a night scene and this "halo" effect is really easy to achieve with ink blending. I die cut one piece with the tree die included in the kit but ink blended them both the same way. 

I used more shimmer spray as my stars and then added highlights and a moon with my gel pen. The sentiment was heat embossed in white. To finish, I popped up the die cut panel over my silhouette stamping with foam tape.
